qtp header?

Default qtp header?

I have Jet Hot 1.75 headers on my 402 and I am wondering how much I could gain by going with QTP 1.75 headers. I wasn't thinking about switching any time soon but they are on sale so now I am interested. Do you guys think it would be worth switching?

Well they are great quality and they do have merge collectors right? If so, I say go for it. You should be able to pick up some power...

I would go with 1 7/8 on that 402. You will gain 10 hp and not lose any low end. I have a stock z06 that gained with the 1 7/8 kooks.

Qtp doesn't make 1 7/8 headers and supposedly the high velocity merge collectors are supposed to make up difference. The reason I am looking at QTP instead of Kooks 1 7/8 is QTP's are sale right now for $665 compared to Kook's $1050. Also I hear that the QTP's should pick up quite a bit of torque as well as top end power, is that true?

We do not make the 1 7/8 right now. Have not felt a need too, when our 1 3/4 HVMC put over 500 rwhp on 402 motors.

American Racing Headers uses the some type of merge collector (what i'm hearing) and i have 1 7/8's on the way for a GTO so they might make the ones for a f-body
