ls7 in f-body
Your biggest obstacle is going to be the dry sump oiling system. GM Performance Division has had their SS test car at several events this summer that has the LS7 in it. They relocated the battery and a few other things to get the dry sump in.
Just tryin to get a ball park figure on work time + price of required parts....
Already have figured in price of engine and wiring harness...

To keep the dry sump, you will need to move the battery and probably have a custom tank made to go where the battery goes. I am not sure of the cost of the tank. Plus you will need all of the plumbing for it. There are places that have whole dry-sump systems available. To go to wet-sump will be fairly easy, as you would just need to take the LS7 oil pump off of the front and put a LS2 oil pump on. I *think* you can swap all your accessories over from the LS1. You may have issues with the dampener. Then change oil pans to any LS motor pan. Also, the Ls7 is a 58x reluctor motor. Any ls1 car will be 24x. That will be another issue. I think you could probably do it for $2-3k over the price of the motor and harness. If I am wrong somebody correct me please.

After we get this car in some magazines we will eventually sell it. Keep that in mind.
