402 oil leak?

402 oil leak?

I just finished my install and now my oil pan is leaking and or rear main seal or gasket not really sure exactly where it is coming from but she consumed about a quart in about 150 miles, not to happy with this but what can i do. anyone else have this problem...?

Is it your pan or rear main seal? But in any case what type of oil r u using? Do u have a catch can set up? I think stock pcv wont be enough.

Is your car an M6? Do you have an Eagle crankshaft? The eagle crank is bored too much, and gives some owners a loose oil plug and pilot bearing.

check the rear seal to make sure it didn't fold over on install and make sure you tighten the long bottom bolts first in the oil pan before the short ones on the back. This will pull the cover down into the oil pan gasket. If you have a clutch make sure you fix this before you even start it up again, if its bad enough it could oil up the clutch
