ls6 vs ls2 block differences?

ls6 vs ls2 block differences? Besides the obvious cam sensor, what would i need to purchase if I got an ls2 block that I couldnt transfer over from my ls6 block? Are the plugs and other sensors different? timing cover, rear cover. etc?
