Question Silly question - swapping LS2 throttle bodies...

I'll be experimenting with a ported LS2 throttle body on my GTO, but have never swapped one of the non-cable TB's. So, my dumb question is, is there any recalibration or anything required when you plug in the new TB or is it just a "swap and go" thing?

I'm lost. By reading your question it sounds like you're trying to put a cable throttle body on a LS2 GTO. What are you trying to swap?

I think he is asking if his new non cable TB will be compatable with his gas pedal? I don't know the answer.

Sorry guys, I wasn't clear. My question is simply whether (assuming 2005 GTO with stock TB) any calibration is required when swapping to a different LS2 TB. For example, I remove my stock LS2 TB from my LS2 and replace it with another LS2 TB - do I have to go through some procedure to set 0 and 100% or anything like that? Or is it just a matter of bolting it on and connecting the wire harness?

Hope that makes better sense... I've never played with the electric TB's so I just want to make sure I'm not missing anything.

No, just bolt it on.
