inspection(s) and cats
As you may or may not know, the fine for not having cats has gone up (at least from what I knew it was) and the penalty is worse. My inspection place will pass me if i install the shell on the oustide of the exhaust just so it appears that I have cats, which is not a big deal.
but if i'm going to go through the trouble of doing all this, I was wondering if it would be wise to install cats;
I got to wondering if the DMV/state gov't would start doing actual tailpipe sniffs to verify that cats are on cars and working??
i already get around the computer part no problem

high flow cats arent that bad unless you are running FI or spray.
I lost ~10hp N/A and close to 20 with a slightly different config. This is with high flow cats from KooKs. Based on my own back to back testing on a Mustang Dyno.

I just don't want to not install cats... and then go get inspected and get sniffed and be ******. I have some high flow cats from FLP, going to cut off the flanges
and only problem here is i'm going FI with the STS kit, and yes i realize its going to hurt my HP figures.
