The Silverado SS has an LQ9 6.0 L Engine as I recall. Therefore, it has 317 heads. These are 71/72 cc combustion chamber heads that are virtually identical to the 243 heads for the LS6 engine. This question should really have been posted in the LS1/LS6 Internal Engine Forum or the on the Performance Trucks website under GM trucks.
