Should I get an LS2?
theres about a million different options- all depends how much $ you have/power you want, i would build a 408 myself, and if you do a motor swap, dont just throw an LS2 in there, take a look at a variety of crate engines. and ya its worth it (assuming your suspension/trans. are good to go but likely will need work, unless you have put a decent amount of $ into them)

Depending on what you are looking for a 402 shortblock/long block might be cheaper then a LS2 crate motor as you have most of the support mod's in the Fbody.
Also you won't have to worry about having to convert the timing wheel from 58x to 24x if you go with a 402 that has the 24x on the crank.
but if you go with that much motor you will definitely want to have the driveline to back it up.
Speaking of crate motors has anyone been over to GM's page and seen the new LS2 carb crate motor (440hp/418tq)...
