ls7 intake on ls1?
you need LS7 heads.. since they use a different port that the LS1
LS7 heads will bolt on to an LS1 block.. BUT.. you need to have the block resleaved.. the 3.898 bore is too small for the LS7 heads.. i believe the minimum bore size to use LS7 heads is 4.100 (LS7 being 4.125)
So any way you look at it.. you're going to need to pull the engine, tear it down, resleeve, new pistons rings ect. Starts getting expensive.. the sleeving alone will be around 2500$.. LS7 heads are not cheap.. LS7 intake is about 400$+ retail... also you need a conversion to run your stock throttle body since the new LS7 (90mm) uses 4 bolt mounting instead of 3 bolt, or go find a 90mm that has a cable drive and will mount to the intake
there is a guy on this board who has done conversion this with great results..

A smarter (i.e. less $$) approach is to get a LS2 and re-fit it with L92 heads and the newly released L76 intake.
