ls1/ls2 cranks??????????????

ls1/ls2 cranks?????????????? I have a couple of questions regarding interechanging cranks between an ls1 and an ls2.
1= is the crank the same between the two?
2= Can you buy an ls2 shortblock from GM? Not just the block but a complete repacement shortblock for say a GTO or Vette.$$$$
Im thinking about a new motor but can't afford a stroker but would like to use the ls2 block because of the 4 inch bore. I was thinking of using my stock crank with a "cheap" rod and piston combo like eagle rods and a basic forged pistons and have a shortblock for around $2500.I will do all the machine work and assembly myself.
I know the 383 Eagle kit for the LS1 might be cheaper but Im just trying to weigh the difference between the two because we would like the ls2 4" bore.

What are the differences in the cranks? I bought a cryoed bare LS2 block and the guy also has a cryoed LS1 crank he will sell me for $100. I would like to know what the diffrences are before I commit to buy the crank.
