LS2 into Fbody, shimming oil pan needed?

LS2 into Fbody, shimming oil pan needed? Does the f-body windage tray needs to be shimmed with a stock LS2? Ive read it does on the 4XX cube Ls2s but am I correct in assuming it doesnt need to be shimmed in the 6.0 stock form? Thanks,

I had to shim my windage tray in my LS2 418cid. but it was because i put a 4.100" stroke crank & 6.125 rods and had to shim the tray to clear the rod bolts . But i would think you would haft to shim any LS style block with a longer stroke ,maybe not with a 4.00" but you will with any thing bigger
