can i use my motron 60lb injectors with a l76 intake? is anything needed to do it?

does an ls1 fuel rail setup bolt up to the l76 or do i have to buy the complete intake if im shooting for a 416 in my 02 camaro?

I dont think so. The intake comes with a fuel rail and injectors. The rail is definetly different. Not sure about the injectors.

If your Motron injectors are an EV1 type injector like the LS1 injector, they will need Katech's adapter kit. The bosses/holes in the intake are larger and will require oversized o-rings. Also, LS1 rails will not work on the L76 intake because the mounting tabs won't line up. This can be fixed if you have some fabbing skills. Or you can use a set of LS2 rails, but either way you go, you'll need the adapter kit.

Katech has developed kits to adapt the Gen 3 LS1/LS6 style injector into the LS2 or LS7
KAT-A4674 LS7 adapter kit $24.99

If you have the LS1 style fuel rails that have a return line then you may have to do some hand fab'n to get them to work with the L76 manifold. The L76's fuel rails do not have a return line (just like the LS2 and LS7)

We didn't need an adapter kit for my car...... a little "work" and we got my LS1 fuel rails on my L76 intake

thanks, im tring to get away from the 500 dollar kit, as i already got the size injectors i need.

so let me get this straight. my fuel system is returnless. so if i get the stripped l76 manifold, ls2 stock rails, rail spacers, and different orings im good to go? will the ls2 rail system hook up to my oem ls1 fuel lines?
do the ls2 fuel rails support more flow or are they stricking tabbed different for different mounting locations?

LS1 and aftermarket LS1 injectors are an EV1 type injector. The diameter of the EV1 injector where the o-ring goes in place is smaller than the LS2/LS7 injector, which are an EV6 type injector. If you use an EV1 type injector such as the Motron, you'll need Katech's adapter kit or, you can go to an auto parts store, buy an assortment of o-rings, and use one that works.

LS1 fuel rail mounting tabs are in slightly different locations than the LS2 rails, which is what the L76 intake kit comes with. I verified this by placing the LS2 rails on a FAST 90mm intake. They don't line up, but anyone with some fabbing skills can fix this.

If you want to use your Motron injectors, you'll need to either find you a set of o-rings that will seal the injectors snug into the intake or buy Katech's adapter kit. If you want to reuse your LS1 fuel rails, then you'll need to modify your fuel rail mounting tabs because for one they aren't going to line up with the bolt holes in the intake.

Quick LS newbie question. Does this L76 manifold have a regulator built into the rails?

Probably not. Only 97-98 LS1s had the FPR on the rail. All others are a returnless system regulated at the tank. I would imagine the new stuff is the same due to emissions.

I think that thing that looks like a regulator in the rail is the pulsator or something like that. It is supposed to smooth the flow from the injectors pulsing.
