i think the problem is that after looking @ the service manual i have th engine oil level plug in and the crank sensor plug in mixed up!!!

i am sure the above switcheroo would cause it to not fire up correct?? car is at parents place so i cant test my theory until wednesday
would that cause no spark as well?

You are right. The crank sensor must be connected or the engine will not start. I had one that had a pin that was not making contact and it drove me nuts until I found it. Chuck

Did you reverse the red and the brown/white wire in the cam position sensor harness? I understand you need to when you go from LS1 to a LS2 motor:

I don't know. I just ran across your thread and remembered reading this over on the HP Tuners forum and thought it might be worth you looking at - it worked on that guy's set up but I don't know what setup he had going.

Well got the V running today!!!! :cool2: :cool2: :cool2:

It turned out that i had the crank sensor and the oil level sensor switched around, so i swapped those today, went to turn on the key, and the guages didnt light up and when i switched the key nothing! I was like WTF it cranked yesterday, so i called JAMES, the man @ lindsay, him and ewillard3 helped me out over the phone, they suggested to check the grounds. So we got off the phone i did that and still nothing.

So i swapped around some of the 4 relay switches in the main box and finally got some dash lights. Cranked it up and my god it started!!!!

Might have some bad gas in the tank though not sure, but did get it off the jack stands and it did move under its own power!!!!! I was so pumped I was like a kid on christmas!

here is the vid

nothing special but here it is running

and here she is back on the ground after being in the air since like August!

LOL well got so dusty since dad decided to tape and texture the one wall in the garage.

the front end is tore off due to having to remove bumper cover to install headlights in the V's, this was a repairable car and i had to install a new ls2 in it. now it runs and I am happy
