Default LS2 Cam Bearings

So yeah, what do we use? I hear Clevite is making some but they won't ship until mid January. The dealer wants to rape your mother, and unfortunately online pricing from Fred Beans or GM Parts Warehouse isn't much sharper. The Clevite set is $30ish from what I hear.

Any other suggestions, or does it sound like I'll be waiting a week or so?

Not from what the machine shop, OEM Repair manual or Engine blueprint says.. #'s 1 and 5 are completely different.. 2-4 can be made to "fit" from the LS1 side of things.

I posted on a similar thread,

Use a clevite or durabond ls1 set for the three inner ones and then buy the two outer ones from gm.
then you have about $80 in it all.

So a complete durabond cam bearing set is no good? I'm building a iron 408, and was told they would work great. Is it a size issue?
