There is a part that i would like to know the function of. This is on an LS2. There is a washer type thing with a rubber surrounding on it that goes beween the crank pulley and the engine. The part number is 12600525. What does this washer thing do? Is it for resistance to the pulley because there is no key on the shaft? Thanks.

 

Not sure what you are talking about but part # brake down lists it as a washer. If that helps.
