Default LS2 vs LS1 water pump dimensions

I'm trying to find out if they both have the same dimensions on the pulley side, does one stick out more towards the radiator? If memory serves me correctly the LS2 gives you more room between the radiator and the pulley for the water pump. TIA.

I would imagine that the LS1 & LS2 are about the same.....the accessory drive for a C5 & C6 are basically the same (they use the same power steering set-up).

P.S. Are you still looking for a set of intake flanges? I have this set below available for a nice price (PM me if you're interested!)

The LS1 pulley is about 3/4" wider out the front than the LS2 pump, I needed that much in my old hot rod and it worked perfectly. To use the LS1 accessories I had to pull the pulley about 3/8" out on the LS2 pump. This is a picture of it completed.

Was this an F-body or Y-body?

That's why, you used F-body accessories...they Y-body accessory drive sits closer to the engine block.
