Default stock 6.0l rods and pistons

Whats the most power anyones seen theese handle? Were they out of a LQ4 or LQ9? I'm planning a budget 402 with L92 heads N/A in the 500-550hp range, and was just wandering if they will survive.(no plans of nitrous either) Thanks.

Im No Expert On This, But Im About 99% Sure That The Stock Rods And Pistons Will Not Work To Make A 402. Longer Stroke Means Longer Rods. Why Dont You Just Leave It A 6.0l And Go On With It.

most 402's have 6.125" long rods stock 6.0l rods are 6.096" not even .030" differance. So all i have to do is buy a 4.0" stroke crank. But i still don't know about the strength of the stock components at that kind of power level.

The LQ4 and LQ9 rods are typically stronger, but I'd really recommend investing in a set of forged rods, or maybe some used LS7 rods.
