Beck LS7 Cross-Ram Intake

Hmm... In the first picture of Mr. Becks shop, there appears to be a Kenne Bell Blower with some sort of custom adaptor sitting on the workbench. It's about 2 feet away from what might be an LSX valve cover. Are these two items related?

my guess is it flows more than any head out now
seems like most people have forgotten, and take for granted, that once upon a place and a time, intakes did NOT limit the heads like our lsx manifolds do. ie if the heads flow 400 cfm bare, they flow 400 cfm with manifold on

If you are talking about a ported single plane setup then yeah. But very seldom does anything off the shelf keep up with a high end head. What exactly are you referring to Greg? Not being a smartass, curious what is your mode of thought.

Greg means that prior to the LSX world, the intake manifolds were not the restriction in most cases. The heads typically were the restriction, intakes could generally flow anything that the head needed. The LSX world is different though, since most of us are used to having a badass flowing set of heads and a crappy intake to choke them. Still amazed at some of the NA power these LSX engines put down with restrictive intakes though.
