Lifter suggestions for L92 408 build....... ?
pretty much the only thing I am missing is lifters...
I have fuel setup, injectors, rails, engine, cam, heads, intake, TB, etc etc etc...
What lifters are available and what price??
LS7, CTV lifters from SPDC, stock new lifters.... what else?
my LS1 stock lifters have over 110k miles on em. so that is a no-no.

Morels if you are staying hydraulic. Or upgrade to a SBC style and machine the block to fit them. The hole body is the bushing on those where as the LS1 stuff rides on two rings. Not good when using agressive cams.

I think you just like to see yourself post your in every L92 based thread, im surprised you don't know what you want yet
I REALLY like the cts-v lifters from SPDC.... I've heard a few other 408's around the shop, and mine is by far the quietest of those that I heard...... one was using regular comps..... and the other one was using comp r's.
Hope that helps. hows the build coming along? did you ever decide on heads and cam yet (cant remember)

I hear you on waiting for pistons. I have been waiting for about six weeks for wiesco to get my pistons done for my 408. Sometimes the wait for parts is the worst of it.
I am probobly going to use the Caddy lifters, once again waiting for them to come off backorder.
In the meantime
