Cool Cam & High Compreshion ?

Rebuilding my 2001 LS1 and wanting to know what cam is a good cam to get with a rough idel and not nedding a high stall.(something under3000stall)

also should i go High Compreshion if so what are the side effect if any on a street car, oh yea on stock heads ?

224 cam is bout it for 3,000 stall it will chopp pretty good for a street car , bigger cams will shift power output higher in the rpm scale so you will need a higher stall than 3,000 to accompany it .

Depends what you consider high compression.... are you talking 11:1 or 15:1 that has a HUGE effect on cam selection
