The L92 heads have a deck approximately .380 thick. I plan on milling them .030. I know one of the selling points of aftermarket heads is the thicker deck surfaces. Does anyone have an educated thought on what a minimum deck thickness might be for a n/a application of 11.5 / 1?

Mine are milled .040 and with .040 head gaskets I think I can just hit 11:1. The head folks did not want to go further so as to allow a cleanup or two in the future.
