Dished vs Reverse Dome pistons
I have always liked dished pistons for boost but am just curious what people who have experience with this think. So I ask this when building a boosted engine and you could get the target compression ratio in either a reverse dome or a dished piston which would be better and why? If it makes a difference the vehicle is a daily driver on a mix of 100 and 91, car is set up for topend highway runs. Boost will be set at 12psi on springs and 18psi on kill, currently at 12 to 14psi stock bottom end with 72cc Patriots and a Gt2-3 cam.
