Default L92 valve location

2 questions please..

I am considering swapping to a set of L92 heads.. I have heard the valve location (and or size) may cause a problem with piston to valve clearance.

Has anyone cut these heads down to 55-60 cc's? Are there any problems with this?

Thanks in advance..

With the right cam, no there is not a problem but you don't want to mill them that far.

what motor are these going into?

do you still have an LS1 in your Corvette? These L92s are made for a 4" bore so they will not bolt up fyi

I am building an ls2 with the l92 heads and mahle flattops. The exhaust valve alighns well with the relief but the intake relief had to be enlarged about .060. I did this because I do not want to be limited that much in my cam selection. From my mock ups, It is apparent things will get close real quick without the valve reliefs.
