Heads/cam Motor really shakes
Heads/cam Motor really shakes I just did a tsp stage 2.5 head and ms3 install and with just a base mail order tune from speed inc. the motor really shakes. Is this normal? It does seem a bit rich but I did not expect it to shake like this. Everything seems o.k driving and idling. I am scheduled to go on the dyno on the 13th. Do you think it will smooth out at the dyno? I had it on a gm code scanner and it showed nothing wrong, no misfires, but it idles like it misfires? Any help or info will be appreciated. Sorry wrong topic, Yeah I'm a newbie, maybe a moderater can move this to the LS1 engine.

^ +1 my car shakes quite a bit after the MS4 cam... HAHA when i first started the car up after putting in the cam (pre any tune) I forgot to plug in the driver side coil pack connection and wow did the whole car shake?
Big cams and the shakes good together especially in the lower rpm range around idle. If you have no codes I would not worry about it to much, plus when you get a dyno tune you can set your idle a little higher to smooth things out if you choose.
