Carb Style Fitment Question

Carb Style Fitment Question Car:
2001 WS6, Stock Hood
Engine:
LS2 with trick flow heads and Carb intake.
Question for all of you is,
What have you done to clear the stock hood with a carb style intake. I can do anything as far as elbows and throttle bodys. Those are the two things that are undecided. I can go with the GMPP Intake as well, i believe its a little shorter?
Lets here some Info! I just need to clear the stock hood. The car will be on motor, so air is good, it'll be a 11.3 compressioned 402 ci LS2.

I talked to Aaron at http://www.intakeelbows.com/ and I will be using one of thier elbows on my L92 GM carb intake.
I've been told that the GM manifold and elbow will fit without any issues, and the victor needs to have a little trimming.
I won't have the motor in and hood on for a couple of weeks, so I would also like to hear from others thats have used them.
