Default Cometic Head Gasket ?

I am installing cometic head gaskets on my new motor. I have heard that a some people are spraying the gaskets with copper seal as a safety measure. I wanted to get some opinions on doing this.. I just don't want to have to pull the heads back off. I know that everything has to be very flat and clean, but if there is an added safety precaution I would like to do it now.
Thanks!

I just installed cometics on my engine. I just made sure the head and block surfaces where clean and flat. I did not use copper spray and no leaks so far. I have hit 11#s of boost and no pushing water. Its all in the prep work.

Very true. Proper torquing is also extremely important to keep a good seal.
