Default head milling on a LS2

Would it be beneficial to mill the heads of a stock 05 GTO LS2. I was wondering if it would help the quench area and up the compression alittle bit but I am worried about piston to valve clearance. I also want to be able to run 94 octane safely

You are goin to have to take off atleast .050 to have a problem with clearance and 94 Octane...

Just switch to a Cometic .030 and see how it does. Stocker is around .05something.

My buddy runs a milled head and .030s with a .224 but its pretty tight for my liking.

That's a tough call. Half a point of compression could get 10rwhp if you don't lose timing.
