Best heads for a 05 LS2 I have a stock LS2 out of a 05 GTO that is going in my 69 Camaro. I am thinking of upgrading the heads and was wondering the best heads to use. I will be adding a cam as well but will decide on the came after the heads. The car will be a street driven car with some occasional strip visits. I am looking for more low speed torque rather than all out high rpm horsepower. Any suggestions on the heads and even a cam to go with it would be much appreciated.
If price is not a factor, then the aftermarket castings of AFR and TFS are the best. They have the best flow per runner size and create better torque. I recommend a 224-228 cam on a 110-112 for a great torque curve.
