C5 427 Installation Complete
I originally had a Vortech S-Trim @ 6.5psi and headers on the car. The 427 has way more torque than the blower setup did.
I am running the AutoTune tune that I was using with my heads/cam 346. All I did was raise the idle to 950, make a tweak for the 90mm TB, change the dispacement, and a couple of other little things. The car starts right up and idles nicely. I have driven in traffic quite a bit with no issues. I get a slight idle dip sometimes when I disengage the clutch and a slight surging at light throttle. I think that a couple of AutoTune sessions with EFILive will take care of those issues.
Here is a pic of the finished product:

nice valve covers 2, provides a nice touch. Go out in reap the benefits of more cubes.
cheers

The car is completly drivable. I spent quite a few of my first few miles in traffic and there are just no issues at all with that size cam in the 427. It idles with some lope and you can feel some lope/cam shake in the car. It will accelerate from 1000 rpm in top gear up a hill with no bucking or surging. I figure that by the time I am done tuning it will drive like stock.
This forum won't let me attach a WMV file. I have a post on CF that I did attach an idle video to so you can hear what it sounds like. You can find that here http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show....php?t=1716433
Look forward to seeing some dyno numbers!!!
How does that cam drive for you???

The shop that installed my 427 (RMCR in Colorado Springs) had them made for me. They had used Scott products before and recommended them.
