Default couple quick questions about an ls2 swap

do you have to use the ls2 lifter trays in the ls2 or are the ls1 lifter trays compatible?

are the map sensors the same, just on a different part of the manifold, or are they different?

is the cam position sensor the same, and just moved to the front, or will i need a different cam position sensor?

i tried using search but its being gay to me so some quick help is appreciated

I beleive the lifter trays are the same.

Don't know, used a L76 intake.

The cam sensor uses the upper cam timing gear and sensor on the front cover. Totally different from the LS1.

i tried using search but its being gay to me so some quick help is appreciated

Default My setup

I'm using a LS2 front cover. I got the harness extensions from Kateck for the knock sensors (now on the side of the block), the 90mm throttle body, and L76 Injectors.

I milled my heads 20 thousands and I'm running Manley dual springs/ti Retainers with a 5 angle valve job. I used FelPro 1161 (.051) head gaskets.

My 402 is up and running and the only problem I had (other than forgetting to connect the harness at the rear of the car) was the blade on the t/b hanging up on the body. I think it's fixed now.

I changed the oil & filter after 100 miles and it seems to be running great. I got a mail order tune from Carlie @ RPM and the car ran great from the start. On the 19th I'm going to Cartek for a dynotune, that way I also know how much RWHP/TQ I've got.
