Default L92 heads ??'s

I bought a bare set of heads from SDPC a while back & bought all Manley valves, Titanium retainer's,
spring's (beehive) all Manley. I have a few questions that may be shared by other soon to be installed L92 heads. I have the LS2 6.0 engine with electric fan's & bolt-on's under-drive pulley/cold air intake with the Diablo tuner. What is the part number for ARP LS2 head bolts or studs? What gaskets are best to use with the new heads? How much should the heads be milled? I have seen numbers from .021 to .035 on milling the heads. Seem's like .025 would be a good number since push-rods come in .025 shorter size to match the amount milled & still not so much the intake will leak from the size change? Since I have a SSTB which weighs 4440 lbs. will the Livernois stage II cam for the L92 heads be a good choice? I have a built tranny with a 3,000 stall & DR's. I have ran 12.81@ 107.75 when it was almost stock on street tires with a small nitrous shot. It is much faster now with the stall & tranny mods. I will be forced to use the L92 truck intake since the L76 intake won't fit. I will be using the LS7 TB & 39 lb injectors also the new GM HD roller lifters ( good for over 7,000 rpm's) from SDPC. Any suggestions? I know milling the heads .035 will give you 11.1 CR but with that number comes issues on intake fit & custom push-rods are needed reason for .025 choice may be a better compremise. I can always use a bigger pill. Anyone have any suggestions it may help me & others thank You.

WOW, that's alot of stuff in one paragraph!

Your head bolts you want to buy in accordance to what year model your block is...'04 and later have all the same length bolts and require the new part number bolt/stud kit.

Gaskets is kind of a preference issue...some love Cometic, some will only run the GM MLS gasket. Both are top quality, and the price is the biggest difference between them...and of course with the Cometics you can pick your compressed thickness to achieve a tighter quench.

Milling the heads you should consult a compression calculator and decide what your goals are in that area....also consider which camshaft you're looking at and keep in mind your piston to valve clearance with those large valves!

Why even respond, if you do not offer just a little info?
Waist of his time and yours! Does it make you feel better?

The valves are same size as stocK L92 valves which are larger then ls1's. The valves are Manley valves that Manley sell's for the L92 heads. All the other parts will are same as any LS series as far as springs retainers. They do take the L92 seals, offset intake rockers (L92) and L92 rocker plate. The Manley valves are all stainless & have the Pro-cut design for better flow. The guides will be hone fitted, bowls/ports cleaned for a better flow also a 3 angle valve job. They only work on bores that are at least 4" or larger that I know.

1. Valves: Int. (11620-8) Exh. (11621-8) Manley
2. Titanium Retainers: (23622-16) Manley
3. Lock's: (13098-16) Manley
4. Spring Cups: (42338-16) Manley
5. Seals: use factory L92's (intake 12482063) $13.07 set (Exh. 12482062) $15.24 set (GM)
6. Rocker Pedistals: Factory (12600936) $4.64 ea. (GM)
7. Intake Rockers: Factory (offset) (12569167) $7.13 ea. (GM)
8. Exhaust Rockers: Factory (10214664) $7.21 (GM)
9. L92 Truck Intake: (12580678) $158.55 (GM)
10. Bare L92 Heads: (12582714) $176.19 ea. (GM)
11. Springs: Beehive (221428-16) Manley
12. HP Hydraulic Rollers (88958689) ($217.85) ($219.86) (GM)
13. L76 intake complete (12590123) ($540.90) (GM)
