Head gasket options for LS7 heads???
You can go stock, or check out cometic. Thats what I'm using, and they're very nice, and seal very well... http://www.cometic.com/domesticauto.aspx

I'm using one with 4.16" bore, and .051 thickness only because my pistons are out the hole +.018. I'm going to get my heads milled, and run a 4.13" bore gasket at .051 thickness to get me to 12.0:1 for my engine.

Side Step... Flatout Gaskets makes a mls gasket for the LS7 also...I think they will also do rubber coated copper in whatever thickness you want.

4.160" bore is not THAT big. Best to go with some that are a little larger than too small. The extra volume they have is neglidible. I'd actually go with some LS7 gaskets since they are pretty cheap and work well. They were on backorder when I built my engine.

What kind of NA compression can the stock gaskets hold?
Would they be ok on a 14:1 or 15:1 High Compression Race Motor?
I am thinking along the lines of LS7R here...(I have to ask after seeing the LS7R at Chevy's RevItUP driving event)
EDIT: Off topic, but that LS7R had Katech stuff ALL over it. Heads, valley cover, some weird looking coil set-up for the spark plugs(two black boxes instead of 8 coils), dry sump, it was fraking sweet to finally see some Katech products in person...
They also started the C6R they brought with them, but I was told it had just an open exhaust LS2 with some sort of cam. It sounded high compression though...
