But hey the intake changed a little over the L76 so you never know.
The "new" truck block is really the LS3 block as opposed to the old L92 style. I hope it replaces all 6.0L aluminum engines in the future. No real need to have both.

Now if GM would just put a 4" crank in it for the new Camaro..........

I never had to use my factory 3 year/36,000 mile warranty and I now have 136,000 miles on it. Only had to replace two items outside of regular maintenance and doing mods ... Replaced the clutch when it blew at 75K and the driver's side power window motor crapped two months ago..phuch a warranty..

What would the displacement be with a 4" crank, and how would the ring packages and pistons(that WILL be in LS3,not special LS7 or race type;production) hold up to that stroke?

I haven't been following pistons parts closely enough to know what the max long-lasting stroke is....

It would be 416 CI and is available from several venders. Some on here have that combo using the L92 block and seem to have good luck with them.

Probably so. In a couple years after the pro's have had some real time to figure out the L92 heads and camming, I think those numbers will be typical.
