I am putting together a LSX over the fall and winter. I am going to bore it to 4.185 and use a 4.00 stroke. Can somebody tell me the cu. in. i am looking at? Dont know the equation. Thanks

Formula is simple geometry for volume of a cylinder, then multiply times 8 or number of cylinders. Remember that a radius is 1/2 of a diameter which in this case is your bore diameter (4.185).
So: pi x radius squared x height
.... 3.14 x 1/2 of bore squared x 4" stroke
.... 3.14 x 2.0925 x 2.0925 x 4 = 54.99 then times #of cylinders (8) = 439.95
440 cu inches
Use same formula for any engine configuration (not rotaries!).
