LS2 bock work with LS1 heads?

LS2 block work with LS1 heads? I am looking to use a ls2 short block but I would like to use my afr heads and ls6 intake I was wondering if this will work or will I have to use diffrent heads? I checked search but didnt come up with what I was looking for.

Maybe check 100% with AFR by quoting your casting number to them.
Is there anything different with external dimensions between your AFR's and stock 243 heads ??
The 243 heads on a stock LS2 will also bolt straight onto an LS1 or LS6....so you might be ok.
And the LS6 intake onto 243 heads onto LS2 is a definate goer because I have that and it works well.
Head ? From what i hear yes they will work but your gonna want to use an ls2 style 4.0bore head gasket, so the gasket isnt expossed to the compestion camber Now this is what ive been told.GOOD LUCK BARNAT
