I do not get involved in pricing. Marketing will have a "target" price but they would announce that if and when they choose.

I will point you to any news on pricing when it is released.

Yes, but really I don't have any information. The heads that I have on my car are different. They are revised C5R heads. THere are so many combinations it's hard to list the differences.

Sorry to be so vague. But I am not getting any information at this time.

When I do and can talk I will post it.

I'm not going to complain with another option though, especially if it is less than the Warhawk.

What about the true priority oiling? How about the 6 bolts per cylinder? And I would think like the Iron version it's would have more material in the main webs and around the sleeves.

Looking foreward to the alum version, I hope it's set up so we can get to a max 4.25 like the iron one is, I doubt it will be but that would be the shizzit

Robin

I completely forgot about the Priority Oiling, and 6 bolts per cylinder. So it does have major improvements over the LS7! Now it's just down to pricing when choosing between the Warhawk and the Aluminum LSx...

I am also very curious if any of these blocks or heads have anything to do with the LS9? They are being VERY tight lipped about the specs on the LS9, I scour the internet every couple weeks and there is next to nothing about it.

AFAIK the ls9 is a ls3 with a blower.....

I think the lsx series is strictly aftermarket....

I thought this might be the case, but I don't really know the relationship between GMPP and GM. I really hope they don't just slap a blower on the LS3 (L92) block and call it a day! Since it might be going in the Blue Devil/SS/Z07 I'd hope it would at least have stronger sleeves, billet mains, and 6 bolt heads. There is no way they would just use the stock LS3 block for a $100k+ uber sports car, would they?!?!?

If you look at what GM did when they added a blower to the Northstar engine (LC3) you might get some idea of how they will go about any huffed LS engine.

My guess is just about 100 hp/L and nearly that much torque/L as installed. Durability won't be a problem.
