Default 408 or 418

I am in the middle of researching for parts on my L92/L76 build and wanted some opinions on things.

Using a 6.0 iron block

First off would be I plan on a totally N/A motor that being said what would be a better route a 408 or 418 i know there really isn't a whole lot of difference there but any little bit helps.

Also I plan to have the l92 heads milled to 65cc chambers will i run into any Piston to head clearance issues on a 418 I will have the block decked some.

Another question is I really only planned on having a little exhaust port work done on the heads them self so would they be enough to even supply a 418.

The heads will work on a 422 out of the box w/no port work. Depending on the cam specs I would clay the pistons to check V-P clearance.

408 or a 418 will be very close to tha same in power, what you put in them for the rest of the components is what will make the difference.

I'd go 408 just 'cause I hear a lot of people mention that the bigger bore on the 6.0 block isn't always okay after sonic checking.
Clearance will depend on the pistons you run.

you can get a l92 418. its a bigger bore from the factory and its aluminum. if you are thinking of tanking a 6.0 iron out that far just becareful. alot of 408, l92 packages dont seem to be making that great of power for what the heads can flow. there is alot kinks being figured out on l92 heads still. alot of threads seems to say that the bigger bore is better on l92 heads.

Thx for the info it seems I might end up with just doing the 408 that way when more is found out about these l92/l76 set-ups I'll have a little more room to use.
I guess the biggest problem I am having right now is finding info on these.
