royal puple oil problems???
royal puple oil problems??? i have a 99 ta with only bolt ons and 94k miles....i added royal p oil last oil change...i am still 1,400 mile s away from the next oil change... tending its done every 4k miles..
recently the engine now has a little tapping noise...its not noticeable at idle or 1200 rpm...but with some throttle in gear it gets louder and changes with rpm...I now that this is probrobally a valve train problem but the car still runs great... I was wondering if any body else has had a problem with the royal puple oil breaking down or being so light that it causes a tapping of the lifter...
also i have the 10w-30 royal purple.... i am gonna change the oil tommorrow with mobil one synthic....its the cheapest thing i can do...if i have to go into the motor i'm swapping cams..

Do you think it could be the fact that your car has 94,000 miles on it???
