I'm taking my C6 in to the dealership tomorrow for the roof delamination problem. While I'm there I want them to check the problem that many have had with their 05-06 C6's. Now this is where I need a little help, this problem had something to do with a bolt on the engine loosening up. Something about the pully bolt or the crank bolt, I'm not sure. I've tried using the search feature but, as you might have guessed, I end up with every variation of bolts that one can imagine but not the one I'm trying to think of. Does anyone remember what this problem was? Thanks for your help.

 

You may be thinking about the harmonic balancer retaining bolt. A bolt in the center of the balancer. Don't forget about re-torquing both rear axel retaining nuts, 118 ft lbs., also the two inner mounts on the rear sway bar (two top bolts get loose, 18mm.).
