LS2 or LS7?

LS2 or LS7? I need a new motor in my car. I'm going to put a 402 (LS2) but want to know about the top end build up. Now should I go to a LS7 style head intake combo? How much of a HP difference would there be? Do I need new headers, thought the head angle changed? Sorry I'm very new to the LS7's
Or maybe a better question how do I get 550RWHP with a 402? I like the temperment of the car now with the 224 112 cam in it, I'd like to keep it near that level of drivabilty.

To find many examples do a search on 402. To me the ls7 stuff is way over priced for what you get. If nothing else you could go with the L92 top end and call it a day. Don't have any numbers for you, so I would just try a search. Its working now.
