Just thought i would post some build pics of are 440ci lsx build
Specs are

Diamond pistons 4.185 bore
Eagle 4.0 crank
6.125 Oliver rods
12.5 SCR
Ported Darts with 2.10/1.65 ( will change later)
261/268 7xx lift solid roller
Vic jr intake with elbo 90 TB

we hope to have this up and running in a few weeks

 

Looks pretty strong with lots of cam. Who did the machine work on the short block?

we are hoping to make 1,000 on the gas for now and it would be great if we can do this with a 400 shot or less

You ran 9,3 with 383Ci and Daily driven car right???
With 440Ci and 400shot that thing will nail 8s for sure.

I ran a 9.21 with a 383ci Daily driver At 3558 in the dead *** heat also the last pass the 383 made was a 9.40@148 with a 1.76 60ft it spun bad and the pass before that was a 1.34 60ft but only ran the 1/8 mile for a plug reading

Yea the heads are compete no welding was needed for the springs ended up going with some comp cams, Thanks again for the info

We hope to be in the LSX shoot out with it, the motor is almost complete but the car still needs about 100hrs worth of work lol
