58x reluctor wheel and ls6 intake?

58x reluctor wheel and ls6 intake? Any reason you couldn't use a x58 motor with a ls6 intake assuming you have a x58 ecu? Does the x58 ecu need a fly-by-wire TB to work or can you "tune" it out so it runs good with a cable operated TB?
