Concerned about 408 break-in??
The engine has been in my car for a couple of months now. The shop hasnt finished or tuned the car. It has been started many many many times and not had a chance to fully warm up or even get above 2500rpm except for a few blips of the throttle for ***** and giggles.
I am all about breaking it in hard.
Should I be concerned... it has already fouled a plug or two due to all the fuel.

Stop running it if it's pig rich, you will gas wash the cylinders and the engine will need to be torn down, honed and re-ringed.

finally... it was dyno'd today..... I hope everything is fine. I honestly dont know how many times it was started up..... I was getting concerned because I assume the shop is moving the car in and out etc.... and he did say 2 plugs needed to be blown out or something to that effect.

Probably will end up around 470 or so... just as I predicted after correction.
IMO, considering the intake needs some real good port work, the numbers are on spot!
