camming the caddy
Yesterday we finished the install of a D1 Procharger on our 2007 cadillac ext.. it was running strong and better with each run, however on the obvious last run it knocked a bit on higher rpms and boila..
Piston 7 decided to show us the top ring..
Since we are forging the engine, we want to cam it for once..
Has anyone succesfully bypassed the variable cam system?
We thought about puting a LS2 front cover with a LS2 cam gear.. but what about the solenoid of the caddy cover?
any input is appreciated..
