northern states engine builders. Ive been looking into the texas speed 454 short block and was wondering if anyone or any shop closer to canada is making them? I am very interested as I cant even find the parts ight now to build the botom end that cheap. when I used the rods and crank I wanted there price was 699X.00 doesnt look like I can build one for 7K anywhere right now. just hunting for some local stuff or at least within less than 12 hrs driving time. thanks
