im interested in this info as well. i have been long debationg on what block i was going to use in my build up since before the warhawk or lsX blocks came out and it seems as im still stuck. i want aluminum but i dont want something that is less likely to last as long as the iron would in a boosted 900+HP application. i know it comes down to how you drive your car and the parts used and the builder but i would sure like to know that this huge investment i am going to make can and will be able to last to the 100k mile mark

To summarize: I don't have data on the composition of our sleeves. I don't have the time to contact the manufacturer to get it. I don't know if they would release it.
We haven't done FEA on ours vs all the sleeve-makers/users that exist.
We do not have the resources to test for 5 year or 100k mile durability.
We've used a superior sleeve material and created a superior block design to support it.
When racers test the limits and share the data, we will know more. Just as the racers who broke the OE pieces at 1200HP and came to us for improvements.
We won't speculate in the mean time.

I would say it's simple. No 1000rwhp vehicle will last 100k. I look for 20k between rebuilds for a street car and 200-1k miles on a mostly race car.Not saying the block won't take it but the rings and wear parts will need replacing.

Right now I'm looking at this block for my race car.Hopefully soon I'll decide which way to go.

ya maybe not 100k but i want it to feel like that long (wont drive it nearly as much as i do now). as for wearable parts would that include the sleeves/liners? i dont want to have a 4.125 bore and have to go anybigger cause of worn sleeves if thats what happens?

You can easilly wreck a liner/sleeve with wear.Thats life with high hp.If your worried about this stuff get a block that is easy to fix or just go with cheap GM blocks.

the block and liners would be the least of my worries when it comes to wear and tear.
