i just have to ask why,, the whole point of having a L92 is in the heads

Maybe he can't afford everything at once and needs to use the old heads until he can afford new ones? So will the heads work?

Well, lets see. I have a 382 right now with TEA heads and a FAST 90/90 setup. I want more cubic inches. That make any sense?

Also, there's no such thing as too nuch compression.

He was referring to running on pump gas. You can do all sorts of tricks though to keep your dcr down.

I ran a set of AS 5.3 heads on my 402 for awhile until I got the L92's. No problems as long as you don't run a huge cam with severely milled heads.
