Default Cam testing?

I see a lot of cam info/specs for cathedral and rectangular port heads - offered by many vendors/sponsors.

How many of these setups (cam and rec. valvetrain) are tested on a Spintron?
Is the Spintron, or similar equipt, the industry standard?

HAPPY THANKSGIVING to ALL!!!

Cheers,
joel

Joel, i may be under informed on this topic but i believe spintron is used for testing cam for good dynamics, you know for its destructive point or range. This is not an area pushed veri far for hydraulic street strip cams commonly sold here. When the upper range of max power is the target than Spintron is espescially usefull. Anyone have anything to add to this?
Happy thanksgiving to you too.

Spintron measures valve train stability. I think it is quite expensive to rent. MM&FF had an article on it. They put one of their Real Street setups on it...amazing how much it was off. They made some changes and it really smoothed up. In the end though, they said they left with more questions than what they came in with.

Thanks guys!
I see vendors jump in with "In House" (proprietary) cam offers all the time.

I knew race shops will check a grind(s) and related valvetrain on the Spintron - I wondered if all "In House" cams were checked.
