Lifter problem/question

Lifter problem/question I'm assembling my LSx motor and ran into a small snag/question. The tie bar on the lifters was initally hitting the mounting boss for the lifter tray. You can take .010 off the lifter tie bar and that will give you clerance. I'm starting to question if they are going to work with the oiling passages. The cam base circle is 1.375 which I don't think is really a small base circle. Here are a couple of pics of my lifters
This side of the lifter would be towards the center of the motor, against the lifter bore.

I think you have it all right there Phil but the lifters we used would clear that part of the block depending on the lobe lift and I know the Crowers are close some times. We've had to grind the blocks down with those lifters and the bigger .450 + lobes The oiling should be fine as long as your lifter clearance is good as well (.0018-.0020 or so). If not you could gind a tiny line between the band and the oil hole but as is it should actually work anyway.
