Question how to change an LS2 364CID to a LS2 402 ?

how do you make a 2005 LS2 364ci a ls2 402 cid ?

Question LS2 Stroker

what Rod size would i need ? basically i have a 4.005 bore so if i go a 4 " strocker Crank then it would be a 402ci ? or if there is clearance with a 4.100 Crank then it would be a 412cid ? LS2

Question So basically

the 364CID LS2 has a 3.622 crank then ? making a stock LS2 364cid with an aluminum block a ls2 402cid would not be a wise idea would it ? better off going with an iron block right ? plus i only have scat i beam rods 6100 with 7/16" ARP cap bolts it would be better off having H beim rods right ?

the ls2 alum block work fine for a 402,go with a 4'' crank,6.125 h beam rods and you can get off the shelf pistons,stock bore is 402,.030 overbore is a 408,if your in the market for some parts let me know

All you need to do is a 4" crank. There is nothing wrong with a 4.0 bore and 4" crank. Some guys have done enough bore to get a 403 but that is really just machining for the pistons. There are lots of 402's and 403's making big power. As far as what size rods, check with any of the sponsors. I am sure you can find that info on their web pages. On the I beam rods, I believe scat rates them fairly high for HP. Keep it N/A and I bet you would have no problems. Just do some research through sponsors and searches here.

I dont think this is recomended for a ls2. The ls2 block is aluminum and does not have the clearances for boring 30 over. 408's are iron block 6.0 motors bored 30 over.
